For Georgia Bar — Ensuring Fair play the American Way (abridged version)

The State Bar of Georgia wanted a video for jurors that would not just go through the mechanics of jury duty, the way other jury videos do, but inspire and move viewers.

So a consultancy they worked with (Crane Metamarketing) that knew and liked Upland's work for one of its other clients asked me to interview two U.S. Supreme Court Justices in the authentic-feeling conversational style they appreciated in my other work, as well as several past jurors. I did, then wove together excerpts from these interviews for the final video.

After Upland completed this video, several other state bars contacted me to license it for their own juror education initiatives.

The interviews of Justices O'Connor and Alito were at the Supreme Court building in Washington. The interviews of the jurors were at the State Bar building in Atlanta.

I created a longer-form (18-minute) version, in addition to this abridged (5-minute) version.
