For Groton — Juliet, Sixth Form Student
Groton School's director of admissions asked me to conceive a set of videos not only to attract applicants who would a good fit for the school, but also to help motivate admitted applicants to enroll. So Upland created a series of vignettes, each focused on one student or teacher, as well as one focused on the Head of School. Each one is based on a 45-minute interview edited down to about two minutes, woven together with B-roll of life at Groton.
The admissions office featured some of the vignettes on its public website and reserved others for admitted applicants only.
(I developed the vignette format and style originally for the Loomis Chaffee School.)
This vignette about Juliet, a Groton sixth-form student about to graduate, is one of 12 vignettes Upland created for the school's admissions office.
